Ride the Biker

When her car breaks down on an empty road at 2 a.m., Kimberly expects panic, frustration, maybe even fear.
What she doesn’t expect… is him.
Zac: a blue-eyed biker with a rough exterior, a soft voice, and a darkness in his past he keeps buried under steel and speed.
One ride with him feels like freedom.
One touch feels like fire.
One day with him changes everything.
But he’s healing from a heartbreak she never saw coming.
And she’s running from one she can’t talk about.
What begins as an escape becomes a collision of need, lust, and unexpected tenderness.
Two broken hearts.
One unforgettable day.
And a goodbye that tastes like a promise neither of them are ready to make.

She takes a deep breath, climbs onto the bike again, and places her hands around his waist.
With a loud rev, they leave the parking lot, leaving the town behind, heading into the unknown together.
The engine growls as they ride down the open roads. Open fields with the most amazing flowers pass by, followed by stretches of wild horses galloping through the grass. Kimberly takes it all in, lost in thought, enjoying every second of this ride.
She’s pulled out of her daydream when she feels Zac’s hand move, caressing her leg as they ride. The leather of his gloves drags over her jeans, and he straightens his back so his hand can find hers around his waist.
“Hold on tighter. We’re gonna speed up,” he says through the helmet.
And Kimberly does exactly what she’s told.
She tightens her grip, and the second he feels it, he bends forward, taking her with him. He twists his wrist letting the engine scream, and in seconds they’re flying down the road, nothing in their way as the speed climbs.
Adrenaline floods her veins.
It feels almost like a high.
Minutes pass. The wind hits hard, but the feeling is incredible.
A little while later, Zac slows down. He glances over his shoulder before turning left, down a smaller side road. A line of trees greets them as they enter a forest path. Zac slows even more, making as little noise as possible.
After a few minutes down the quiet country road, they emerge into an open clearing.
And not just any clearing.
A lake.
A beautiful, secluded lake surrounded by trees and wildflowers. Kimberly still feels the vibration of the bike in her legs, her hands shaking from the adrenaline.
Zac notices her staring at her hands.
“You okay?” he asks.
Kimberly looks up at him.
“Okay? Okay? Are you fucking kidding me?” she yells, though with her helmet still on, it comes out muffled and confused.
Zac quickly removes his helmet and rushes toward her.
“Hold on, let’s get this off first,” he says, unbuckling her helmet and lifting it off.
“I said, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?” she yells again, but this time her eyes are wide as the lake in front of them.
Zac looks startled.
“What,”
“THAT was fucking AMAZING! Oh my god!” she screams, breathless.
Zac bursts into laughter, pulling off his gloves as his deep laugh fills the air. Kimberly soaks in the sight of him, beautiful, strong, amused.
And before she even realizes what she’s doing, she walks straight to him.
She wraps her arms around his neck and their lips collide.
Oh my god, what did I just do, flashes through her mind right as their mouths meet.
Zac, clearly caught off guard, freezes for a second. But before she can even think about pulling away, his arms wrap around her, pulling her closer. The kiss turns hot, uncontrollable heat pouring out of both of them.
She melts into him.
His hunger answers hers.
Their tongues tangle as the world disappears. His firm grip pins her against him, refusing to let her go. He lifts her effortlessly, her legs wrapping around him as he walks them back to the bike, their lips never parting.
He swings his leg over and sits, placing her on his lap.
His hand traces downward, unzipping her jacket. Sliding under her shirt, the heat of his touch sends a shiver straight down her spine.
Her body reacts instantly.
The heat between her thighs intensifies.
She wants him, right here, right now.
