Hi, I’m Ruby Darkrose, a Hybrid Emotion Storyteller.
What started as short stories turned into something much bigger, a universe of desire, obsession, healing, and emotional intensity. My work lives across books, lyrics, and sound, because some feelings are too big for just one format.
I write dark romance for people who don’t just want spice,
but want connection, depth, and stories that stay with you long after you close the page or stop the song.
WHO I AM
I write because this is what I’m meant to do.
It’s my passion, my escape, and the one place where my mind feels free.
I write for myself first, because the stories living inside my head refuse to stay silent.
Storytelling has always been my core.
The foundation of everything I create.
But creativity was never meant to stay inside a single box.
Over time, I explored different emotions, genres, sounds, and styles while searching for my own voice. Some pieces were raw, some experimental, some chaotic, some softer than others. Every creation became part of the journey that helped shape the storyteller and emotional identity I carry today.
Now, I’ve found that voice.
I’m a Hybrid Emotion Storyteller.
I write the stories, and I use modern tools to transform emotion into music, another layer where obsession, desire, heartbreak, fantasy, power, and vulnerability collide.
Some songs belong to my fictional worlds.
Others belong to a feeling, a moment, a wound, a fantasy, or a version of myself that needed a voice.
Not everything I create has to belong to one universe.
But everything I create belongs to emotion.

The Kimberly Series will conclude in 2026.

This is a long-term story, written with intention, growth, and emotional layers.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is random.
Every book builds on the last.
Every album deepens the world.
The Kimberly Short Story Series is an ongoing collection and delivers quick, addictive reads filled with heat, tension, and character depth.
I’m always exploring new ways to deepen immersion, emotion, and storytelling beyond traditional boundaries.
Every project is another step toward building a larger creative universe.
There are still countless ideas left unexplored.
To be fair… I’ve only just begun.

Every release, whether a song, story, lyric, or visual concept, exists to deepen emotional connection and expand the worlds behind the work.
